KINGS RECORDS HISTORIC MARKER UNVEILED


(Cincinnati, OH) Sunday, November 23, 2008, Cincinnati hosted a long overdue day dedicated to King Records in its 65th Anniversary Year.


At 2 p.m.the Cincinnati USA Music Heritage Foundation presented Rock and Roll Hall of Fame President Terry Stewart, Cincinnati City Councilman John Cranley, Funk Legend Bootsy Collins, officials, and a host of additional King Records artists, former employees and family members unveiled a Historic Marker at 1540 Brewster Avenue, the former home of the King Records recording plant in Evanston.
